Tretorn is a proud member of Amfori (formerly known as BSCI – Business Social Compliance Initiative), an international initiative where companies collaborate to improve working conditions at the supplier level, addressing both social and environmental challenges. Amfori supports systematic and independent monitoring of supply chains to ensure compliance and transparency.

Together with Amfori and its 2,400 members, we adhere to a shared Code of Conduct, which strengthens our dialogue with suppliers. Through Amfori, we gain access to a platform that consolidates information and audits about our suppliers. This data is an essential tool in our ongoing efforts to evaluate and follow up on performance at the producer level.

Amfori’s Code of Conduct includes requirements for:

• Ethical business practices and prohibition of bribery

• Reasonable working hours

• Prohibition of discrimination

• Fair wages

• Prohibition of child labor

• Health and safety in the workplace

• Special protection for young workers

• Prohibition of forced labor

• Environmental responsibility

• Secure employment conditions

• Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining

The Code of Conduct is based on conventions from the United Nations and other international organizations on human rights.
